About Us:
We were both called to walk the Camino to Santiago de Compostela in Spain when we were teenagers. It took a further 15 years to meet each other, discover we had this ambition in common and actually do the walk!
In April 2005 equipped with a small handcart to help carry our equipment we left home in the New Forest and walked to Weymouth, crossed on the ferry to St Malo and from there walked to Santiago in Galicia, and on to Finisterra, the most Westerly point of the known world in ancient times, and former site of a temple to Apollo. The journey took 111 days. You can read about this trip HERE.
Thoroughly hooked on Pilgrimage in 2006 we walked Olav's Way, another ancient route between Oslo and Trondheim in Norway. The route runs for a little over 400 miles across some incredible landscapes. You can read about this trip HERE. We are currently planning our walk on the Via Francigena...
