Kate FletcherKate Fletcher

Coming from a large family of musicians, it is no surprise Kate has followed the family trade, performing, composing and teaching music for much of her life.

An accomplished singer and composer, she headed the roots band Epona with brothers Colin and Jon Fletcher, Nancy Kerr and Tony Lyons, playing a blend of Original, English and Celtic music.

Oboe playing led her to learn the bombarde. Her interest in Breton and French music soon extended to other ancient and fringe music of Europe.

As well as being a skilled and imaginative musician, Kate is a qualified music teacher and holds a diploma in sound therapy. Kate is also available as a solo singer songwriter, with dazzling self penned songs!

You can find an extended biography, discography and samples from Kate's new album, Fruit, on her own web site.
